Favorite Destinations with a toddler
While you can certainly visit any destination with a toddler, some destinations are easier than others. Here are a few of our favorites:
Switzerland - Public transportation in Switzerland is SO efficient. Some trains even have play areas. There are beautiful playgrounds throughout the country. The cities are clean. There is so much to do in nature and there are places where toddlers can run free and get energy out.
Amsterdam - Of course we are a bit biased, but Amsterdam is really fabulous! Parks and playgrounds are all over the city.
London - We found amazing playgrounds, but there are also several museums that will entertain toddlers on rainy/cold days. Check out the Peppa Pig bus tour for kids that want to see sights.
Tuscany - There are numerous farms and hotels with tons of space. Parents can relax, while kids enjoy time in nature. Plus good food!
Rovaniemi, Finland - The “home of Santa” there are tons of activities for little ones. From sleeping in an igloo, to snow activities, to meeting Santa.
Greek islands - We love everything about Greece. We visited Mykonos in October with a toddler. It was calmer, but still warm. We were able to swim in the pool and play on the beaches. Plus visit the town and windmills. Greek food is very kid friendly. There are even hotels with kids clubs on Santorini!
