4 days in Paris
We LOVE Paris. You could spend weeks here and not see everything. A long weekend is the perfect amount of time to spend in Paris, especially for your first trip. Here is a sample itinerary for 4 days in Paris.
Day 1 - Arrive. Check in to hotel. Shop along Rue Cler and spend the afternoon picnicking under the Eiffel Tower. You could then head up the tower or take a river cruise along the Seine. Enjoy a nice dinner.
Day 2 - Wake up and head out to try a few croissant shops on your way to the Louvre. After the Louvre you could wander to Le Marais for shopping and lunch, then make your way over to Notre Dame. You could then visit a rooftop (Montparnasse Tower or Galeries Lafayette) or take a river cruise.
Day 3 - If you are an early riser, you could visit Trocadero for sunrise views with the Eiffel Tower. Head to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. Then make your way to Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees for shopping.
Day 4 - Optional day trip to Reims (Champagne), Versailles, Disneyland, Monet’s house, etc! Otherwise, try a few more croissants, visit another museum (perhaps Musee d’Orsay) or maybe take a cooking class, relax in Luxembourg Gardens and eat another delicious meal on a terrace for dinner.
