Weekend in Prague with a baby

Prague was our first true weekend trip once we moved to Europe. We visited in August 2021 with a 10 month old (crawling, but not walking).

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our driver who provided a car seat for the transfer to our hotel in the city. The same company also provided the return transfer back to the airport. Along the way he shared interesting and historical information about the city and the region.

We had no issues navigating the city with a stroller and baby carrier. We really enjoyed meandering around the city - it is absolutely gorgeous!!!

At the time our son was an early riser, so we were able to explore the city with few crowds. We would return to the hotel for naps - having connecting rooms was a huge plus. He could nap in peace while we were able to relax.

One day we opted to “hike” to a beer garden/park overlooking the city. It was a little bit of an effort with a stroller, but at the top we were rewarded with amazing views and a cold drink. Tip - carry cash.
