Mykonos with a toddler

When you think of Mykonos, you might think party destination!

However - it was actually a GREAT family-friendly fall destination! We had a blast in Mykonos with a toddler.

We started at Mykonos Grand and stayed for 2 nights. We had a suite with a separate living room, which was great for nap time/early bedtime. We were able to enjoy the sunny balcony or stay up and chat while our son slept. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the pool and beach access - great for little ones. There were several other families there, so we never felt awkward. The sunset colors at this hotel are unreal.

We hired a taxi from Mykonos Grand to take us into Mykonos town to visit the windmills and “Little Venice” It was very walkable and would not recommend bringing a stroller. You may prefer a carrier, but we had no issues with a 3 year old. We stopped for lunch at Greco’s before heading back to the resort.

The next day we checked into Santa Marina and WOW! We had a pool suite with an ocean view. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses ever. Right off the property is the restaurant Apaggio which was delicious. We went twice!

Santa Marina has a lovely beach which has space for kids to run. We noticed a playground on the resort map but never made it there because we spent so much time enjoying the other properties. This is a Marriott property and a bit of splurge, but worth the points redemption.

We finished up the trip at Myconian Ambassador. The lively pool vibe was one of my favorites of the trip. I enjoyed a bit of music and the most comfy pool chairs ever. Everyone here was SO friendly. We always appreciate when we feel welcome when traveling with a child and we certainly felt welcome here.
